1965 VW Beetle - $19,500

Our 1965 Beetle was originally built to display the quality of restoration work at Classic Camber. We are now selling the vehicle. The following work was performed on various sections of cars.

Body

• Body was media blasted to bare metal and painted L87 Pearl White with PPG base / clear coat system
• German exterior components such as bumpers and running boards
• Window mechanisms such as vent wings and quarter pop out windows restored to new factory quality
• All seals replaced with German or quality reproduction items
• Exterior light assemblies and lenses restored or replaced

Chassis

• All components sandblasted and powdercoated semi-gloss black.
• Suspension components replaced such as king pins, tie rods, shocks, bushings, etc.
• Transmission rebuilt by Rancho and converted to 12V bell housing
• Brake system completely restore with all new hydraulic components, shoes, and drums.
• Original style hardware items replaced to retain period correctness.

Engine

• NEW Mexican built 1600cc Dual-Port engine, set-up for 12V electrical system
• Powder coated engine tins
• German heater boxes and exhaust system

Electrical system

• New 1965 only wiring harness
• 12V electrical upgrade including alternator, starter, lights, and windshield wiper motor

Interior

• Oxide Red and Oxford Grey door panels
• Oxide Red seat material on painted frames
• Tin Grey carpet with black rubber floor mats
• Cloud White headliner
• All dash components restored or replaced

Wheels

• Correct date coded wheels had hubcap clips replaced, powder coated gloss black and accent painted with L87 Pearl White
• Tires are BF Goodrich white wall radial vintage style 165 SR-15
